All five Vaultbreakers so far - the demo pair plus three fighters waiting in later builds, with their kits explained.
Read →Updated 2026-10-11Vaultbreakers is BetaDwarf's fantasy co-op action RPG about raiding the vaults of a hostile region and getting out alive with what you found. A free demo went live on October 8, 2026, the same day Square Enix announced it was publishing the game — and the PvPvE Alpha Test runs October 15 to 21. This site tracks what BetaDwarf has actually confirmed: the systems in the game today, the five Vaultbreakers, the maps, and what the demo patch notes changed.
The thirty-second version
- What it is. A stylized fantasy ARPG where a small party drops into a region, runs quests and vaults, and extracts with loot. On the hardest difficulty, dying means losing the gear you carried in.
- What you can play right now. The free demo: part of the first region Wolfswood, two playable Vaultbreakers, co-op for up to three players, and the main quest up to your first Vaultbreak.
- What is next. The Alpha Test (October 15-21) adds PvPvE, Vault 3 and Vault 4, the Ancient Tower boss and more. Demo progress carries over, and Legacy Points carry all the way past launch.

The honest state of the game
The demo is a vertical slice, not a launch build. Two of the five confirmed Vaultbreakers are playable, one region is open, and PvP is locked until the Alpha Test. BetaDwarf publishes unusually detailed patch notes, so most of what this site covers is quoted from the builders themselves rather than guessed from trailers.
